Hi, I'm Mathew Vairamon


BACKGROUND
Dr. Mathew M. Vairamon brings over 30 years of legal, academic, and public service experience to the bench. As an attorney, educator, mediator, and community leader, he is committed to ensuring that every case—whether a small claim, landlord-tenant dispute, or truancy matter—is handled promptly, fairly, and in full accordance with the law.
His focus is on fairness, integrity, and accessibility in every aspect of justice.
He believes every resident deserves a Justice of the Peace who listens, explains, and responds with transparency. His mission is to provide a court that safeguards rights, maintains dignity in every duty, and remains accessible and approachable to all
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
Licensed attorney since 2010, Ph.D. in Administration of Justice, and law professor at Prairie View A&M University. His service includes Vice-Chair of Stafford’s Planning & Zoning Commission, Treasurer of the Fort Bend Taxpayers Coalition, and accredited mediator with Harris County. He also brings unique insight from his experience as a corrections officer and community advocate
